Enter your password when prompted and press enter.
You are now logged in. Type the following in to
the box: port a1 counters and
press enter. (If it says command not found, try
port a1 show instead)
It should now list loads of stats. You are looking
for the lines named Downstream Attenuation
and Noise Downstream Noise Margin.

(usually green). Double click this icon and it will
open up the BT Voyager control panel.
Click on the Status button and
then press CTRL + F1 on the keyboard
to bring up a window on the left.
Click the DSL Link button to display
your stats. |
BT Voyager 205 | Click on Start,
then Run. Enter the following in the Run box:
telnet 192.168.1.1
then press OK. A black box will appear. It should
ask you for the username, which is admin
and press enter.
Enter your password when prompted and press enter.
You are now logged in. Type the following in to
the box: get dsl params and

D-Link DSL-200 USB | In the system

your modem status. Double click this icon and it
will open up the control panel. Keep clicking the
left and right mouse
button in quick succession and a new hidden window
will appear.
Click on Advanced to view your

Thomson SpeedTouch 330 SpeedTouch USB | If you do not have
Dr. SpeedTouch installed, download it from: http://www.speedtouch.co.uk/downloads/330/dr_st_300.zip
Once installed, there should be a new system tray
icon appear. Right click on the icon and choose
Advanced then Write log
file to disk. It will ask you where to
save the file - choose your desktop for convenience.
Once the window disappears, double click on the
file called drst.xml on
your desktop to view your line stats. |
