well 7mbps will be still be better than 13kbps!!! newnet are supposed to be "according to this site" one of the best !!!!! how long have you had adsl with them as adsl max has been around for years !!!!

Had them for a few months before I moved property, they are really good indeed i'd recommend them any day, i guess it's just the IP profile of the previous owner that is stuck :). I was mislead by the whole "the line can support up to 2mb" thing, so i didn't bother with adsl max, didn't know much about it anyway.

Just to let you know, IP profile has been changed and i'm now getting an acceptable down speed.
Can't believe they missed what seems such an obvious fault!

I owe it to you for helping at those early hours of the morning!

What are your new stats?
Bitrate (Up/Down) [kbit/s]: 1,317 / 18,360
Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 12.0 / 25.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 7.0 / 3.0
