Bus driver stops bus to pray in aisle

Postby Alecto » 08 Feb 2010, 12:30

Little story from the Mail about a Muslim bus driver who decided to stop his bus full of passengers and have a prayer session in the aisle.

If he was lost and wanted help, would have been easier to try a satnav or ask somebody.

Sat nav isn't that good, I got lost in Cornwall following the bloody thing, turns out I we were not the only one's trying to find pizza hut. Seems the post office switched the post code and didn't tell anyone, except the locals.

lol My problems with Satnav were : 1 However hard I stuck it on, it kept dropping off the screen on to my foot when I was going round a busy roundabout 2) I could either listen to the directions OR drive and pay attention to where I was going, but not both at the same time.
So I'm back to using the AA routefinder service.

I use my £2 Road Atlas, never get lost with that, not taken any wrong turnings.

The trouble with Sat Navs is they don't have any common sense built in. :D

Not sure if I could find Mecca with my Road Atlas tho'.

Classic! What gets me about it, is Jack is always after getting "the birds", but he's no "oil-painting" to say the least! Must have had the most "distinctive" look of any character, in any sitcom ever" :)
